If you are planning on travelling over the 4th of July holiday you may be paying a historical price at the pump.
GasBuddy has released their gas price forecast for Independence Day and they have predicted that the national average for a gallon of gas will be $3.75 a gallon.
That would be the 2nd highest price per gallon over the 4th of July holiday since gas was $4.80 a gallon in 2022.
The price would also be 65 cents higher than the price was last year.
