A Springfield man likely died from injuries received after falling in a construction area on North Grand Avenue earlier this month according to Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon.
Preliminary autopsy results indicated 66-year-old Michael Satterfield died from a cervical spine fracture.
Satterfield was found on the morning of June 18 near the construction site and pronounced dead at the scene.
Allmon asked on Friday for the public’s help in finding Satterfield’s family members. A sister was located shortly after the request.
