The Sangamon County Fair opens a five-day run today at the fairgrounds in New Berlin.
Tonight’s feature is the queen pageant in the Warren-Boynton State Bank Pavilion at 7 o’clock.
The carnival operates from 3 to 11 p.m.
Grandstand shows include Full Throttle Monster Trucks on Thursday, country stars Scotty McCreery and Josh Turner on Friday, a rodeo on Saturday and a demolition derby on Sunday.
